This position involves working as a Process Technician on the 3rd shift, from 11:00pm to 7:15am, with alternating Saturdays. Initial training will occur on the 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm for one week. The role requires working with Cincinnati presses, ranging from 350 ton to 1950 ton, utilizing materials such as nylon, polypropylene, and Acetal. Key responsibilities include ensuring the correct placement of resins, checking valve gates, troubleshooting plastic injection machines, and tracking processes using a step-by-step checklist.

The role is based in a plastic injection facility located in Grand Rapids, with four manufacturing sites within a two-mile radius. Process technicians are assigned to a specific plant and remain there, ensuring stability and consistency in the work environment.
This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $66560.00/yr.
There are quarterly bonuses paid out. Cascade has excellent medical benefits. Additional trainings and schooling offerings. Medical benefits start on day one of employment as a direct employee. The employee only yearly deductible is $300 per year and the weekly premiums are pretty low. They start out with two weeks vacation for a year but it is prorated depending on when they start.
