Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will adhere to company and site safety rules and perform safe and effective operations of all equipment necessary to fulfill job functions. You will have the flexibility to work across various products and areas, supporting business needs, and providing training to new employees or those learning new work areas. The role requires following established procedures, processes, or policies and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints to accurately execute welding tasks. You will also assist with robotic welding as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with company and site safety rules.
  • Perform safe and effective operations of all equipment needed for job functions.
  • Flex across different products and areas to support business needs.
  • Provide training to new employees or those learning new work areas.
  • Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
  • Interpret and understand engineering drawings and blueprints to execute welding tasks accurately.
  • Assist with robotic welding.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with MIG welding, specifically .035 MIG Welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Skills in fabrication, fitting, grinding, and assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1+ year of MIG welding experience with mild steel.
  • 1+ year of blueprint reading.

We offer above-market pay based on experience and an 11% shift premium for the 3rd shift. There are exciting plans to double production from this facility over the next 12-18 months, backed by $18M in capital projects. Employees receive quarterly bonuses after transitioning to permanent positions, with a minimum expected bonus of $500 per quarter based on metrics such as safety, efficiency, and quality.

Work Environment

This role is for the 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday, from 3pm to 11pm, with occasional overtime on Fridays and every other weekend.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagle, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
