Mechanical Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivatedMechanical Project Managerto lead and manage HVAC and plumbing/piping projects from concept to completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and track sales leads while promoting department services.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Estimate job costs and prepare proposals for review.
  • Manage projects to meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Oversee production, quality control, and project close-out.
  • Purchase materials and manage inventory efficiently.
  • Approve invoices, coordinate payroll, and handle billing.
  • Resolve client disputes and manage past-due accounts.
  • Maintain company equipment, vehicles, and enforce personnel policies.
  • Work closely with subcontractors and clients on all project phases.
  • Maximize daily revenues through effective production oversight.
  • Review contracts, purchase orders, and proposals for compliance.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical HVAC and plumbing/piping projects preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and project estimating software.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using extension ladders.

Work Environment

This role involves both office and field work, including roof inspections. You’ll work an 8-hour day shift in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
