We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team and help design, develop, and implement robust Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), strong hands-on experience with modern Salesforce development tools, and the ability to mentor junior developers on best practices and modern workflows.

This is a Hybrid position with consultants expected to be onsite two days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Use Visual Studio Code (VS Code) with Salesforce Extensions for efficient development and deployment.
• Work with modern Salesforce development tools such as Salesforce DX, Scratch Orgs, Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset), and Change Sets.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Customize and configure Salesforce using custom objects, validation rules, flows, page layouts, and approval processes.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform and integration issues.
• Mentor and guide junior Salesforce developers on coding standards, modern tooling, and best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Proficiency with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, LWC, and Visualforce.
• Strong experience using VS Code and the Salesforce CLI.
• Familiarity with Salesforce DX, source-driven development, and Scratch Orgs.
• Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Independent worker.
• Experience mentoring other Salesforce developer on modern salesforce tools.
• Experience working within the insurance industry – preferred skills.
