The Program Coordinator II, under general supervision, works collaboratively with leadership to plan, develop and implement the Affiliate Faculty Promotion

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four years of program coordination or closely related experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgement.

Responsibilities

Affiliate Faculty Portal

• Manages the affiliate faculty hire process, including initiating pre-employment actions, creating account credentials, and processing action items.
• Serves as a primary contact for the affiliate faculty portal, responding to inquiries and providing guidance on trainings, tools, and program resources.
• Develops and updates training materials and delivers training.
• Maintains and analyzes affiliate portal records, databases, and usage statistics to support reporting and strategic planning.
• Coordinates strategic communications and marketing efforts, participates in departmental meetings and collaborates with Faculty Affairs leadership on program development and confidential matters.

Affiliate Faculty Promotion

• Implement and oversee a two-cycle process for affiliate faculty promotions.
• Manage all aspects of stakeholder communication.
• Document creation and distribution.
• Data management and distribution.

Faculty Hiring

• Assists in the oversight of College of Medicine faculty hiring and serves as main point of contact/backup when faculty hiring staff lead is out.
• Responds to inquiries regarding hiring processes and procedures from school and university-level stakeholders.
• Coordinates and tracks faculty hiring processes for the college

SharePoint and Event Planning

• Maintains department SharePoint site.
• Annual faculty promotion event.
• Faculty Accelerator Series.

Other Duties as Assigned

• Attends Faculty Affairs office meetings as needed.
• Supervise student worker as available and needed.
