This is an opportunity to become a part of the Engineering Services team based at the YETI Innovation Center in Thailand, where YETI products are prototyped early-on and eventually tested to their limits prior to release. The Test Technician will support New Product Development and Engineering efforts by carrying out essential activities to product development, including: working with Design and Validation Engineers to perform lab testing of consumer products and/or their components or raw materials, sample organization, sample destruction, document control, creating technical reports to communicate test results. Under the guidance of the lab and engineering teams, you will be taught the skills required to perform testing and evaluation of products in all phases of the new product development process at YETI.
You have a critical eye for the details and are driven by a curiosity to know more. You thrive in a fast-paced team environment and can juggle multiple projects and tests. You are excited about testing materials, prototypes, and finished consumer products. When there are no standard tests, you work with the team to make your own in order to make sure we’re learning as much as possible. Most importantly, you thrive on great procedure creation, record keeping and data collection, and you are able to analyze and articulate the results clearly, both written and verbally.
