Full-Stack Engineer, Mid

Booz Allen has an opportunity to showcase your talents by supporting the Air Force’s Cloud One platform. We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join the team and work with teams to leverage and expand the client’s platform.

You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to translate customer needs, and assist others in migration and solutioning of mission critical capabilities. You’ll be responsible for working with current and new software development teams, understanding their architecture and development environment tooling to develop onboarding paths to your client’s platform. You should have expertise in multiple cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle, databases such as SQL and NoSQL, networking, full-stack software applications, architectures, and common design patterns such as event-driven architectures and microservices.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with software development out-of-the-box (OOB) or functional concepts such as Python, Golang, and Rust
  • 1+ year of experience with containerization and deployment with Kubernetes
  • 1+ year of experience with CI/CD and developer workflow automation, including GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Flux, and multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Google, Azure, or Oracle
  • 1+ year of experience building microservice full stack applications such as frontend, backend, and data storage solutions
  • Experience troubleshooting application code and configurations
  • Ability to learn and develop a software development skillset in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across engineering teams
  • Ability to work independently with guidance, across development teams, and in a fast-paced, Agile environment
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience with technical documentation for engineers to consume your software
  • Experience with IaC, including Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience with Cloud Native services such as virtual servers, database services, and networking infrastructure
  • Experience managing and configuring Ubuntu, RHEL, and Windows Server operating systems
  • Possession of excellent communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
  • Foundational-level or higher Cloud Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
