Position Description

Do you want to drive meaningful change through your SAP knowledge? Join Applied Medical and play a key role in optimizing our global supply chain operations. As part of our Corporate Applications team, you’ll work fully onsite, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance logistics execution processes. You'll drive efficiency in shipping, warehouse management, and inventory control—helping reduce costs and improve operational performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Business and Systems Analysis: Understanding and documenting business workflows and requirements across departments (e.g., Logistics, Operations, Quality) to guide system development and support.
  • Enterprise Systems Expertise: Applying knowledge of enterprise-scale applications such as SAP, Quality, and Production systems to support implementation, optimization, and validation activities. Participate in software validation activities to ensure that software solutions are designed to perform as intended. Support in the development of training material.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engaging in-person with various internal teams to gather input, test solutions, and deliver functional software that meets departmental needs.
  • Technical Development: Proactively learning and applying relevant software technologies to design, validate, and support customized solutions for enterprise-wide use.

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Management or Business Administration
  • A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring SAP Logistics and Warehouse Management Modules on projects in a functional technical capacity
  • Proficient technical writing skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills Ability to interface effectively with individuals
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with other team members to meet required timelines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • General knowledge of systems project lifecycle
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • Experience with software validation
  • Experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management
  • Experience with S/4 HANA
  • Certification in Logistics and/or Warehouse Management would be ideal
  • Please note that this role is internally titled ‘Business Analyst’. Externally, we refer to it as SAP LE Functional Analyst (SAP Logistics Execution)' to better reflect the role's responsibilities.
