A leading supplier of industrial robots and automation systems is currently seeking Field Service Technicians and Engineers.
Responsibilities
Field service includes the installation, start-up, programming, technical support, troubleshooting, repair, refurbishment, and emergency service of robots. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure equipment is installed, and commissioned safely, reliably, and within time and budget constraints.
- Travel to customer location to complete repairs or provide support.
- Effectively communicate with design engineering, application engineering, training, administration, and customers.
- Generate detailed and accurate work order closing documentation upon completion of work assigned in a timely manner.
- Provide details needed to generate quotes for paid services.
- Complete and provide accurate, detailed expenses for invoicing.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues pertaining to robotics.
- Perform preventative maintenance on customer robots.
Qualifications
- High school education combined with 3+ years of technical repair experience related to robotics or automation. Associates degree or technical certificate preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally for up to two-week increments.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
