Suvi Global Services is seeking a seasoned Lead Infrastructure Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership and strategic direction for enterprise infrastructure systems across classified and unclassified environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud and on-premises infrastructure, lifecycle systems management, and secure systems integration. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead for the architectural design, deployment, and sustainment of the government's enterprise infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure systems engineering efforts, including inception, development, growth, maturity, and decommissioning.
  • Ensure system designs align with the government’s enterprise architecture, cybersecurity policies, and operational requirements across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and cloud networks.
  • Oversee infrastructure systems integration, ensuring seamless communication between platforms, applications, and network layers.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in cloud architecture, data center engineering, virtualization, and network services.
  • Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation, including high-level designs, technical specifications, implementation guides, and operational support procedures.
  • Conduct performance analysis, risk assessments, and capacity planning to ensure infrastructure reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with project managers, cybersecurity teams, and application developers to ensure alignment of infrastructure initiatives with broader mission objectives.
  • Provide Tier 3-level technical support, troubleshooting complex system issues and guiding resolution strategies.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and integrating new technologies that enhance infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Support the planning and execution of infrastructure changes, releases, and deployments, adhering to ITIL and DoD change management practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure knowledge sharing and technical continuity across the infrastructure engineering team.

Qualifications

  • Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 9 years in architectural design and deployment of cloud solutions, and 9 years managing infrastructure services through their full lifecycle.
  • Deep technical understanding of enterprise systems, virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Azure Solutions Architect certificate (or equivalent) demonstrating advanced cloud architecture proficiency.
