Role Overview:

As an Associate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be part of the QA team responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our TACC product suite across On-Prem and SaaS platforms. This is an entry-level role suited for candidates passionate about testing, automation, and building high-quality software.

We are looking for a motivated Associate SDET to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in software testing and automation, along with foundational programming knowledge. This role offers a great opportunity to work with senior engineers, learn industry best practices, and contribute to real-world QA automation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Work with QA and Development teams to understand product features and testing needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Assist in manual testing as needed to support release validation.
• Collaborate on writing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Document defects and ensure proper tracking and closure.

About You:

• 1–3 years of experience in QA automation or software development Engineer in Test.
• Proficiency in a programming language (Python, Playwrite, Core Java).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in the security domain will be an added advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
