Responsibilities

• Efficiently handle and transport materials within the warehouse and shipping areas.
• Accurately track inventory and maintain flawless records of all transactions.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and strictly follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to establish standard methodologies for material handling and inventory control.
• Successfully implement new processes to improve efficiency and reduce handling times.
• Ensure all materials are accurately labeled and stored to prevent any damage or loss.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a material handler or in a similar role within the transportation/shipping industry.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to strictly follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
