Job Title: Project/Program Manager II

Job Description

This position serves as the owner's on-site construction management representative for a significant retrofit project within an operational distribution center, valued at approximately $25M. The role supports a Senior Construction Manager who manages multiple sites across the region and may not be able to provide constant site presence, typically visiting 1-2 times per the person. It ensures consistency through delegated management of the General Contractor and daily coordination with stakeholders and site operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support a Senior Construction Manager by providing site presence and management where needed.
  • Ensure consistency through delegated management of the General Contractor and coordination with stakeholders and site operations.
  • Coordinate and complete project/program tasks, ensuring all aspects are overseen effectively.
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress of the project/program.
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding project/program status.

Essential Skills

  • Confidence in commercial construction practices (1-2 years)
  • Construction project management experience (2-4 years)
  • Written and oral communication skills (2-4 years)
  • Stakeholder management skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
  • Experience in tilt-up large-scale construction.
  • Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
