Program Management Analyst (PMA)
Job Summary:
Our client in Allen Park, MI is looking for a Program Management Analyst. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do:
- Assist PMT leader to coordinate and manage Powertrain design, development, engineering, validation, and certification statuses for the team on Ford Performance vehicles to support program and engineering GPDS milestones
- Support supplier sourcing processes and FMA activities
- JIRA issue Tracking
- Data entry and report generation/tracking
- Review daily Base and FP specific Change Control Decks for any CRs that impact our FP product lines
- Support weekly FP specific Change Control meeting
- Review any changes with interfacing D&R engineer to confirm FP impact and update the D screen with PMT4 sign-off
- Attend Daily Red Border / Part Shortage / OTG meetings for FP programs and follow-up on any PMT specific open item parts through completion
- Support the progression of Quality / FMA deliverables and follow-up with D&Rs to ensure progression of FMA completion at each milestone
- Provide & track targeted FEDE Workbench metrics (FMA, RQT’s, REG’s + DR’s) to improve engineers’ awareness of deliverables and to drive closure <2 weeks before respective milestones.
- Track and lead FEDE requirements and assessments for FP Powertrain Specific or Impacted parts - this includes working with the interfacing engineers to confirm there is signed evidence of test completion/compliance to all RQT-xxxx-xxxx/xx, REG-xxxxxxxx/xx and all Engineering in FEDE DVP from DCV through FEC
- Interface daily to maintain a collaborative relationship with the core Powertrain functional engineering teams (Core/(IPTSE) engine/Underbody systems (transmission, driveline) & Ford Performance leadership teams, attribute teams, suppliers, manufacturing, and management to ensure parts comply with required specifications and critical decisions are made efficiently
- Ensure Timeliness / Quality and visibility of BOM via required steps in FEDEBOM BOM
- Complete Data Entry and Quality/Tracking of JIRA Items o Tracking of Time to close of JIRA
- DPA – tracking/closure for all programs at each phase o
- FMA / Design Standards Checks
- Design Static Clearance / Dynamic Move
- Functional performance /travel checks
- Advanced Manufacturing Assembly Checks
- Plant Assembly Checks
- Service Design Checks
- Coordinate delivery recovery plans (DRP’s) with FP-PTRN D&R’s for gating issues
- Execute 25CY FP program milestone deliverables ("on time w/quality")
What You Will Need:
Basics:
- BS Engineering Tech (or equivalent)
- 2+ years experience on automotive engineering programs
- Excellent understanding of online/electronic Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
- Experience launching new vehicles and working with a Cross-functional team
- Ability to handle complex and multiple tasks and complicated situations under compressed timing
- Primary Skillset: Understanding of GPDS deliverables and basic Client engineering tools (JIRA, FEDE BOM & Workshop / WERS / Bill of Material / GPIRs / 3DS)
- Additionally beneficial: FEDE DVP / Engineering Sign Off / DFMEA / FMA
