The Associate Merchandising Operations Analyst supports the execution of merchandising operations, helping to drive accuracy and efficiency across pricing, inventory, and other relevant processes. Acting as a key cross-functional partner, this role collaborates closely with internal teams and external retail partners to ensure consistent execution across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities include MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) management, Return to Vendor (RTV) coordination, pricing execution for the Finish Line at Macy’s partnership, and managing reconciliation of purchase order data with Reebok systems. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, working with systems, and partnering with multiple stakeholders to drive operational success.

Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Management

  • Receive MAP pricing lists from vendors and enter data into internal MAP management system
  • Validate that MAP updates are accurately reflected on the customer-facing website
  • Partner with internal Digital, Merchandising, and IT teams to troubleshoot discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate documentation on end to end MAP process

Return to Vendor (RTV) Coordination

  • Collaborate with the merchandising on RTV schedule and products to be returned
  • Create RTV documentation to initiate returns and ensure alignment with internal requirements
  • Communicate RTV details with cross-functional partners, including supply chain and inventory control
  • Monitor RTV status and ensure compliance with agreed timelines and vendor policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation on end to end RTV process

Finish Line at Macy’s Price Management

  • Enter Macy’s price changes into internal pricing system
  • Transform and format pricing data to meet Macy’s requirements, and communicate accordingly
  • Confirm that price changes are reflected accurately on Macy’s website and in stores
  • Collaborate with Macy’s and internal IT partners to troubleshoot and resolve pricing discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate documentation on end to end Macy’s Pricing process

Reebok Reconciliation Process

  • Manage the reconciliation of purchase order data between internal systems and Reebok’s PO system
  • Partner with Reebok and internal teams to troubleshoot discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate documentation on end to end Reebok Reconciliation process

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Assist in testing and troubleshooting merchandising systems (e.g., Merchandising ERP)
  • Help document workflows and identify opportunities for process enhancements

Additional Duties as Required

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in a retail merchandising, merchandising operations, or related role (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented and organized; able to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Internal JD Finish Line experience strongly preferred
