Job Summary: A test engineer position within our team will be working on testing various products used by financial institutions across the world to move money globally. The person in this role will work closely with other software engineers and key stakeholders to ensure quality of deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write clear and concise bug reports for identified issues
  • Follow up on open bugs to ensure timely resolution
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on progress of testing efforts
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts for regression testing purposes
  • Identify areas where processes can be improved upon to increase efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; experience may substitute for education
  • Proven experience in test methodologies, tools, and environments
  • Strong knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Shell, C# etc.
  • Experience with Java, Springboot, Selenium and/or Robot Framework.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI etc.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, Cloudbees, Ansible
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present ideas clearly and influence others without authority
