We are looking for a Manager to think big and deliver long term tool based solutions on a global level for the Hub Business Operations team. This position is a multi-faceted role requiring the ability to balance strategy and execution. This role requires working with globally distributed teams to resolve some of the biggest operational problems the organization faces, and is responsible for developing, communicating and executing project plans that improve workflows, processes and operational efficiency. Cross-team coordination, project management, executive presentation skills, and proven track record of delivering results are essential.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

Lead strategic tools enablement including strategy, design, build, testing, launch, delivery and reporting

Build and manage strategic tool launches for some of our biggest productivity tools

Managing cross-functional project teams, planning, organizing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations (Operations, Business Development, Finance, etc.) and geographies.

Building strong partnerships with product and tech leaders to influence the development of features that resolve operational inefficiencies, improve scaling velocity and improve the operator/external partner experience.

Creating tools and leading initiatives to optimize for scale, schedule and cost

Providing strategic level/long-term planning (3, 6, 12 and 24 months out) for operator tooling

Effectively leveraging the operations managers to solicit ideas and understand problems and challenges.

Establishing objectives and metrics for quality, productivity, and user experience

Participating in recruiting to identify and evaluate associates and internal/external candidates for promotion and hire.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Business, or Supply Chain ·

2. 10+ years of relevant work experience in sales operations or equivalent fields. ·

3. 4+ years with data analysis tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience building and maintaining CRMs and project management tools

2. Experience with supply chain and distribution.

3. Experience setting, managing and improving capital budgets

4. Strong analytical orientation; comfort using databases and analytical tools and making data-based decisions

5. Strong problem-solving skills; ability to analyze issues and create appropriate tactical plans

6. Meticulous attention to detail: ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering your quality bar

7. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization

8. Demonstrated ability to champion and drive cross-functionally improvement initiatives

9. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills

10. Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units to achieve results

11. Highly technical and analytical, and also capable of understanding the complexities of software, supply chain, and physical fleet management processes.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
