Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Operator, where you will play a crucial role in the production of materials for Tesla car batteries. You will work in a facility that is responsible for mixing liquids and other materials, ensuring the accurate and efficient production of battery components.

Responsibilities

• Unload barrels and boxes of materials and store them in the warehouse section of the facility.
• Separate and move materials that need to be mixed and activated to create the liquid material for batteries.
• Work in the production, filling, and batch area to accurately measure, pour, and fill barrels and drums for shipment.
• Operate machines to move products through each station using programmed controls.
• Assist with the cleanup of hazardous chemicals in the event of spills.

Essential Skills

• Ability to travel up and down stairs, in and out of containment areas, and maneuver in narrow aisles.
• Capability to lift, carry, and maneuver at least 40 pounds.
• Understanding and use of FIFO, hazardous chemical operations, computer operating systems, and safe handling practices.
• Knowledge of GMP, GDP, sampling procedures and tools, decontamination, contamination prevention practices, and safe work practices.
• Ability to work in proximity to active electromagnets.

Work Environment

Work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment to ensure the safety and quality of materials used in Tesla car batteries. The facility maintains a controlled climate to handle sensitive liquids and products effectively.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Sacramento, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
