Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will perform inspections of parts according to well-defined criteria using standard visual, physical, mechanical, and electrical measurements. You will have the ability to perform visual inspections on large lot sizes under a microscope and accurately document the results of inspections and testing. Maintaining all controlled documentation files and test records in a timely manner is essential, as well as performing data entry into the computer for incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections using visual, physical, mechanical, and electrical measurements.
  • Conduct visual inspections on large lot sizes under a microscope.
  • Document inspection and testing results accurately.
  • Maintain controlled documentation files and test records.
  • Perform data entry for incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in medical device inspection is a plus.
  • Ability to use inspection gauges and microscopes.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and inspection procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of ISO and GMP standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience performing inspections.
  • Willingness to learn and train on microscope usage.

Work Environment

The work environment is not a cleanroom, and no PPE is required. The quality department comprises about 10-12 employees, and contractors have their own benches. This area is shared with the warehouse team, encouraging constant interaction.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danvers, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
