Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the operation of CNC Mills and Lathes, including Makino and Milltronics. The role involves setting up specific programs for these machines, utilizing basic G & M codes, and performing mechanical changes using hand tools as necessary. The machinist will use blueprints for machine setup and quality checks, and ensure products meet client standards using various measuring tools. Documentation of all actions is required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC Mills and Lathes.
  • Set up and program CNC machines using Mastercam, Solidworks, Mazatrol, and Conversational programming.
  • Perform mechanical changes with hand tools for different tooling heads.
  • Read and utilize blueprints for machine setup and quality checks.
  • Use measuring tools to ensure product standards are met.
  • Document all actions and operations accurately.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in operating CNC Mills and Lathes.
  • Experience with basic G & M codes.
  • Familiarity with Mastercam, Solidworks, Mazatrol, and Conversational programming.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Skilled in using various measuring tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58240.00/yr.
