Title: Facility Operations Assistant 1

Location: Moving & Trucking

Salary: $36,232

Grade: CSEA SG-6

Hours: 6:30AM-3:00PM, Monday - Friday

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.

This position may be filled from a mandatory reemployment list if one is in effect at the time of appointment.

Valid New York State driver's license required.

Operating Needs:

• Use AiM to facilitate daily operations. Pick Tickets, Work Orders and Inventory part searches
• Perform weekly checks on battery operated machines, using safety precautions. Filling & charging batteries as needed and Keeping Log.
• Moves items to and from storerooms and/or warehouses; maintain storage area
• Delivers supplies to various offices
• Assists with Material Management deliveries, assist shops when needed using forklifts, pallet jacks & rack trucks.
• Handles and operates equipment in a safe & professional manner.
