Spherion is seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined individual for a Hydraulic Hose Assembler position with one of our valued industrial clients. This temp-to-hire opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow within a stable company.
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00/hour (based on experience)
As a Hydraulic Hose Assembler, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, crimping, testing, and packaging hydraulic hose assemblies. You'll play a critical role in helping customers keep their operations running by delivering high-quality, custom-fabricated hose products.
Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, assemble, and crimp hydraulic and industrial hoses
Test and inspect hose assemblies according to quality standards
Clean and package products for shipment
Read and interpret work orders and product specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Reliable transportation and good attendance record
Willingness to work in an industrial environment
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months verified forklift operation experience
Ability to read work orders and use measuring tools like tape measures and calipers
Able to lift up to 100 lbs with proper technique or assistance
Basic mechanical aptitude; fabrication experience a plus
