IONOS is a leading provider of cloud infrastructure and digital services, empowering businesses to succeed in the digital age. We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team and drive the development of our Database as a Service (DBaaS) products.

As a Product Owner within the DBaaS DevOps Team, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs. You will be the voice of the customer, ensuring that our DBaaS products are intuitive, scalable, and meet the evolving needs of the market.

Tasks

• Define and prioritize the product roadmap for DBaaS products, aligning with company goals and customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, UX, and Product Management to deliver high-quality products.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and behaviors.
• Work closely with the DBaaS team to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring that the most valuable features are delivered first; Develop and maintain product documentation, including product descriptions, user manuals, and release notes.
• Analyze customer feedback, usage data, and market trends to inform product decisions and optimize the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in a cloud computing or database-related field.
• Strong understanding of database concepts, including relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Experience with customer-facing roles, such as sales or support, is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with database management systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with product management tools, such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
