The Workshop Foreman plays a key leadership role in managing day-to-day operations, focusing on safety, service quality, personnel development, and operational efficiency. This position requires a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in oilfield services and a strong background in managing tools, crews, and workshop performance. The role ensures smooth coordination between field teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class service execution.
- Lead and promote strict compliance with Weatherford’s HSE policies and safety culture.
- Manage workshop including PCE up to 10,000 PSI and various wireline/fishing tools.
- Oversee job planning, tool preparation, execution, and post-job evaluations.
- Supervise and develop field personnel, ensuring performance, training, and discipline standards are met.
- Maintain tool and equipment readiness; oversee maintenance, inventory, and repairs.
- Coordinate closely with sales, operations, and clients to meet job requirements and resolve issues.
- Support cost control efforts, job documentation, and service quality reporting.
Skills:
- Proven experience working as a Workshop Foreman, Tool Push, or Field Supervisor.
- Strong background in Pressure Control Equipment (PCE) up to 10,000 PSI.
- Hands-on experience with Fishing, Wireline Tools, PCL, and General Field Operations.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and field crews under high-pressure environments.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and planning skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in oilfield services (Tool Push / PCL / Fishing / Wireline Tools)
- Technical degree preferred
- High School Diploma required
