POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for planning, monitoring, supporting, designing, and implementing information systems to enhance the educational and informational
functions of the school district. This role requires expertise in data center operations, disaster recovery, network security, enterprise servers and software systems, optimal performance
of email systems, regular systems maintenance and pro-active planning and implementation of improvements. The Senior Systems Administrator leads requirements-gathering initiatives,
performs in-depth research and analysis, and delivers strategic recommendations to inform and enhance decision-making. This role requires a proactive professional with a sharp attention
to detail and a strong commitment to harnessing technology to advance educational outcomes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or technical certification preferred, or technical certification preferred.
Relevant Certifications:
Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Cisco and Microsoft Active Directory certifications preferred
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, Microsoft server solutions, disaster recovery, email and data center support.
