As a Salesforce Engineer at Zalando, you will design, build, enhance, and maintain existing and new force.com applications that will be used across Zalando in various business functions. You will challenge our status quo and help us define best practices for how we work.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Configure, deploy and customise Front/Back development connected to Salesforce to meet our specific business needs
• Ensure data integrity by implementing best data management and deduplication practices.
• Set up workflows, automation processes and integrations to improve team efficiency and lead nurturing processes.
• Serve as the first point of contact for any full stack-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving them promptly.
• You will develop and perfect the architecture of our diverse multi org CRM Implementation, by contributing to discussions and decisions about architecture and development
• Own the development cycle - from software design, implementation, and testing to deployment, maintenance, and operation of the products we offer to our internal Builders.
• You will foster sound development practices and ensure a high quality delivery of solutions
• You will constantly strive to optimise our systems and motivate the team to do likewise
• Design, develop and deploy microservices for our Kubernetes production environment, in collaboration with other engineers, and direct interaction with users.

You will contribute to discussions and be actively involved in the decision making of our architecture and development

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE...

• 5+ years of experience in building server side applications with NodeJs, Go and Python.
• 3+ years of experience in developing client side applications using ReactJS.
• You care about observability, automated tests, and fast delivery

Ability to write well formatted, structured and clean code that interacts with databases and UI clients

• Curiosity in actively collaborating with product management and design, and a passion for solving meaningful problems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, or AWS deployment is a plus.
• Strong Development Experience proficiency in modern JavaScript and libraries (e.g., React.js)
• Excellent conceptual and analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset with a desire to collaborate with diverse teams, stakeholders and share knowledge.
• Communication Skills while communicating with stakeholders
• Salesforce Development experience is a plus.
• Experience with Typescript is a plus.
