We are looking for a skilled developer with hands-on experience in backend or frontend development, with a track record in designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge in Java or Scala, automated test frameworks, REST APIs, Microservices, and modern front-end frameworks like Angular or React. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions.

About the role

In this opportunity as a Software Development Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java and modern front-end frameworks.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers.
• Implement automated tests as part of delivery.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or S3.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Ensure application security and data protection.

About you

You’re a fit for the role of a Software Development Engineer if you have the following required qualifications:

• Experience in Java/J2EE or Scala development.
• Proficiency with Angular or ReactJS for front-end development.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Successfully pass an extended background check
