About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Salesforce Software Engineer with a foundation in software development and a strong focus on Salesforce. You’ll join a growing team of Salesforce specialists, contributing to the design and delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business needs. This role involves full lifecycle development, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring work is completed to time, budget, and quality standards.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to assess system requirements & specifications, identify & address potential issues, provide effort estimations, support testing activities and ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce solutions.
  • Complete development deliverables in a timely manner to a high standard of quality, while maintaining up-to-date documentation to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, efficiently supported, and adaptable to future changes.
  • Adhere to change control, version control, and configuration management procedures to ensure production services remain stable and uncompromised.
  • Monitor and report on development progress, address issues proactively, escalate when needed, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews and apply lessons learned to improve future development practices, while staying informed on relevant industry trends and technologies used within the business.
  • Ensure all development activities align with current Information Security standards and reflect a strong understanding of customer needs and experience expectations.

  • Integration & API Platform: MuleSoft, hosted in AWS.
  • Cloud & CI/CS: Azure and AWS.

  • Backend Development: Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate, and other similar technologies.

About You

You’ve built your career on a solid software engineering foundation and evolved into a Salesforce Software Engineer, applying your technical skills to build scalable and effective CRM solutions. You’re confident in cloud-native environments, understand AWS concepts, and work effectively with CI/CD pipelines. Working independently to manage priorities and deliver consistent high-quality outputs is your strength.

Your Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience developing within Salesforce Platform with good understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Financial Services Cloud data model and best practises.
  • Proficient in Salesforce administration, including security management, Lightning workflows and triggers, object configuration, and building reports and dashboards.
  • Experience working in an Agile team using Scrum or Kanban methodologies, with exposure to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) highly regarded.
  • Skilled in RESTful API design and microservices architecture to deliver scalable, modular solutions.
  • Strong grasp of test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD practices, with a focus on building high-quality maintainable solutions.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated and service-oriented, with sharp attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
