We are currently looking for a Director of Events Management to join our Sales Marketing team.

As a Director of Events Management, we rely on you to:

  • Develops leads and handles inquiries for social events (e.g. weddings / dinner & dance). Maximizes up-selling when possible.
  • Analyses market trends. Under the direction of the Director of Sales & Marketing, plans and implements proactive programs with Director of Sales to improve market share.
  • Responsible for quality control & production performance of group catering revenue and group room nights.
  • Develops on-going relationships with customers. Participates in relationship building visitations when necessary.
  • responsible to drive and provide training and personal development to the team members, as well as contributing ideas and feedback to operation teams for service enhancement.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for Sales and Marketing
  • Excellent presenter and communicator
  • Is self-driven, goal-oriented, able to challenge the status quo
  • Upholds professional values, ethics and integrity at all times
  • Enjoys crafting creative and best-fit solutions
  • Thinks outside of the box whilst leading change in the hotel
  • Preferably has a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Understands the global market and local environment
  • Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
  • Has strong interpersonal skills
