Job Title: Machine Operator (B Shift)

Location: Rochester, NY

Summary: Step into a dynamic and precision-driven environment as a Machining Operator within our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you'll set up and operate a the Grinding equipment. This is a hands-on, temp-to-perm position ideal for those with mechanical aptitude, strong time management, and a proactive mindset. Shift:

• 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Pay: $17.50 (Based On Exp., Additional $1.00 Shift Differential)

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Follow all safety procedures including wearing of all required personal protective equipment.
2. Effectively and safely operate and maintain the assigned machine and all related equipment to ensure all daily orders are met.
3. Complete safety observations when assigned.
4. Read and follow standard work for assigned machine.
5. Follow all standard work processes.
6. Verify proper components at the work station before beginning a job.
7. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
8. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
9. Operate vertical bar machines to make electrical connectors
10. Quality checks of parts using gauges, micrometers, and calipers
11. Package finished parts

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or machining role preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages).
• Strong reasoning skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment and handle physical job demands.
• Time management, professionalism, and a team-focused attitude.
