Position Title: Order Picker / Cherry Picker
Location: Plainfield, IN.
Job Type: Full-Time
Shifts:
- 1st Shift: [e.g., 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 5:30am - 2:00PM Monday to Friday] (Also available shifts: 2-2-3 schedule 6:30am - 5:00PM Monday - Friday)
- 2nd Shift: [e.g., 2:00PM - 10:30PM, Monday to Friday] (Also available shifts: 2-2-3 schedule 6:00PM - 2:30AM Monday - Friday)
- (Weekend overtime may be required based on business needs.)
Job Description:
We are seeking reliable and motivated Order Pickers / Cherry Pickers to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will operate a cherry picker forklift to pick and stage products according to order specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an Order Picker/Cherry Picker forklift in a safe and efficient manner
- Accurately pick products using RF scanners or order sheets
- Ensure proper labeling, packing, and staging of orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy goals
Requirements:
- Must have at least 6 months to 1 year of recent experience operating a Cherry Picker/Order Picker
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Familiarity with RF scanners or voice-pick systems a plus
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Valid forklift certification preferred (can be provided for qualified candidates)
