Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Rochester, NY

Summary: We are seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Rochester. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring that products meet quality and safety standards through in-process inspections, documentation, and the use of testing equipment. This opportunity is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Shift:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM

Pay:

  • $18.60/hour (including shift diff.)

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-process inspections and test verification for product quality and safety.
  • Operate and calibrate testing equipment to ensure proper function.
  • Document non-conforming materials and maintain required sample records.
  • Follow quality procedures and adhere to regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces.
  • Use standard computer programs to enter data and complete quality reports.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical or math-related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Previous quality control experience using testing equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, follow directions, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for long periods.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and airborne particles.
