Summary:
The Senior Software Engineer II role is a highly skilled individual contributor position focused on solving complex technical problems, elevating code quality, and pushing system reliability and performance across core applications. This role is ideal for engineers ready to take on broad technical challenges without direct people management or project leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and performant front-end and back-end solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards and practices
- Drive deep technical investigation into production issues and long-standing bugs
- Own the delivery of large, complex stories or subsystems with minimal supervision
- Perform thorough code reviews and provide actionable feedback to peers
- Engage in cross-team technical discussions and design reviews
- Advocate for quality through comprehensive unit, integration, and automated testing
- Support DevOps teams in streamlining deployment and CI/CD pipelines
- Act as a subject matter expert in one or more technical areas
- Identify and propose architectural or systemic improvements

Qualifications and Experience:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or enterprise environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Deep understanding of modern web application frameworks and API development
- Proficient in C# .NET, Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, and PostgreSQL
- Experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure and tools like Azure DevOps, Git/GitHub, Swagger, and Postman
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and system analysis skills
- Comfortable with large-scale refactoring and legacy system upgrades
- Strong collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
- Passion for clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- May perform other job duties as assigned
