Job Title: Electronics Assembler Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electronics Assembler Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing electronic components down to the board level, performing bench tests, troubleshooting, repairing, and assembling electronic equipment. You should have a strong understanding of electronic troubleshooting and repair theory, including AC/DC. Your work will involve using blueprints and schematics, and you must be comfortable with repetitive and detail-oriented tasks. You will collaborate with a technician to assemble and occasionally repair products, focusing on extremely small components. Our company is experiencing rapid growth and is in the process of acquiring a larger facility to meet the increasing demand for our products.

Responsibilities

  • Test electronic components to the board level.
  • Perform bench tests, troubleshooting, repair, and assembly of electronic equipment.
  • Apply electronic troubleshooting and repair theory (AC/DC).
  • Utilize blueprints and schematics effectively.
  • Engage in repetitive and detail-oriented work.
  • Work with a technician to assemble and repair products as needed.
  • Handle extremely small components with precision.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical assembly at the component level.
  • High school degree required; Technical School training and degree preferred.
  • Soldering experience; JSTD or IPC610 certification preferred.
  • Experience with wire harness assembly preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Soldering, Assembly, Electrical Testing.
  • Production experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean production assembly setting. It is friendly and relaxed, yet driven by production goals. Quality is paramount, with inspection checks conducted at all phases of production.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
