We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in supporting our FoundationIP product! You will be responsible for orchestrating and overseeing the implementation and maintenance of tools and infrastructure critical to CI/CD pipeline. You will act as a key contributor to the Software Development teams, tasked with automating manual processes, enhancing system reliability, and fostering streamlined collaboration across various technology teams.

About you - experience, education, skills and accomplishments

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of overall DevOps Engineering experience
  • 3 years of AWS experience - familiarity with services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.
  • 3 years of Python experience
  • 3 years of experience using Terraform to manage cloud IaC
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder due to US Export Control laws

It would be great if you also had...

  • Experience building, scaling and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficient with Git and GitHub
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as, Terraform, CloudFormation or Cloud Development Kits (CDKs) and/or scripting language such as python.
  • Interact with development, gather build requirements, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain software environments, and deployment infrastructure.
  • Oversee applications and contribute to maintaining automated tooling code.
  • Execute on multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide guidance to team members on routine tasks.
  • Maintain configuration of tools for system reliability.

About the Team

FoundationIP is an Intellectual Property Management SaaS solution that assist clients in both corporate and law firm settings to manage their IP portfolios. We have close to 700 clients spread around the world. The team consists of Software Engineers, QA, DevOps, Product Owners, etc. who are located across the US and India and work with other product services within Clarivate.

Hours of Work

  • Full-time permanent position primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed
  • Hybrid position working 2-3 days/week on-site
  • Must live within a commutable distance to one of our US office locations: Alexandria, VA, or Philadelphia, PA
  • Participate in a shared on-call rotation (every 4-5 weeks) outside of regular business hours
