Job Description Summary
Novartis ambition is to be a recognized leader in Data, Analytics, AI & Platforms (DAP). The DAP group seeks a highly motivated AI & Data Science Director to manage the lifecycle of novel commercial AI and Data Science products. This role is aimed to enable & manage AI & Data Science solutions for international, region and countries (IRC) to support and drive the commercial activities.
This role works in partnership with Data, Analytics and Marketing Platforms teams, other Commercial Launch Strategy (CLS) teams, International, Region & Countries (IRC), Strategy & Growth (S&G), Data, Digital & IT (DDIT), Business Solutions International (BSI), and others to scale impactful and valuable AI & Data Science solutions across the commercial value chain of Novartis.
This role is responsible for designing, building, deploying and operating commercial AI products (e.g. dynamic targeting, micro-segmentation, call planning, e2e content engine, next best action, A-B testing). This role requires strong understanding and experience in AI, GenAI, ML solutions from product development to operations. Responsible for E2E deliverables of AI and Data Science solutions for CLS and IRC.
Responsible for E2E AI & Data Science products lifecycle, capability building, resource prioritization, budgeting and planning. Responsible for monitoring business values and outcomes of AI & Data Science solutions. This role is expected to keep abreast of the latest thinking and best-in-class practices for AI & Data Science solutions within the industry.
