Position Summary

This position is predominantly involved in the technical and system analytics of all systems and applications supporting physical security and security dispatch on the UNO and UNMC campuses.

This position will become reasonably familiar with all technology in use by the Department of Police and Public Safety in order to be a support resource for the department and the campus community. Customer support of users of this technology will be a primary responsibility, as well as maintenance, upgrades, and technical product acquisition/replacement planning.

Additionally, this position will support the identification, building access services, and other security needs for approximately 25,000 students, employees, medical staff, volunteers, and affiliates to ensure a safe and secure campus workplace.
