We are looking for a responsible Project Officer to support the research for the project titled: Automated IC Recognition and Verification from PCB Images.

The objective is to design and develop computer vision techniques to analyse multi-modal PCB images for IC property extraction and verification for security evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Officer will work with our team to conduct research on the development of image analysis algorithms and AI methods for hardware security evaluation. The roles of this position include:

  • Study literatures on PCB security evaluation, PCB multi-modal image analysis, and datasheet parsing.
  • Data annotation and preprocessing.
  • Research and develop algorithms and AI models for various computer vision tasks of PCB image analysis.
  • Algorithm/model evaluation and testing.
  • Maintain the integrity of the data and code base.
  • Prepare documentation and report for technology transfer.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for review meetings.
  • Prepare and publish research papers on top-tier journals and conferences.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from reputed universities, with hands-on experience in related fields.
  • Independent and self-motivated
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Willing to learn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in literature study and can conduct research independently
  • Familiar with Python, PyTorch, etc.
  • Experienced in image processing and machine learning.
