As our TEST ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN you’ll support HID’s success by:

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepares new test cases coming from internal and external customers and test requests pool
• Performs tests and measurements such as electrical, mechanical, thermal and other
• Performs basic laboratory automation tasks and basic equipment programming
• Execute and validate digital credential test cases for mobile wallet platforms
• Measures and controls parts according to drawing or instructions
• Supports failure analysis activities with internal and external customers.
• Analyzes data and provides the results in the correct form as a measurement report
• Internally calibrates measuring devices (control according to instructions and updating of documents - database)
• Externally calibrates measuring devices (sending devices to external lab and updating documents - database)
• Maintains documentation for equipment and test suits.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience

• Technician, specialized in electrical and/or mechanical measurements.
• Industrial experience in the field of electronic device measurements or any other qualification deemed equivalent.

Language Skills

• Ability to effectively communicate in the English verbally and in writing. Additional languages knowledge would be a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

Computer Skills

• Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Customer Expectations

Very good business understanding, skills, abilities, and traits necessary in this role to satisfy our customer's expectations

Work Requirements

• Travel and fieldwork including occasional international travel; therefore, employee must possess or can acquire a valid passport.
• Must be legally eligible to work the country the employee is hired
