The opportunity

The Technology Consulting team develops strategic systems consulting activities for clients across various industries, particularly in the financial industry. They help clients plan, organize, and implement the use of technology in a way that best supports the business requirements and needs.

Your key responsibilities

  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements, articulate technical solutions, and assist in proposal development. Present architectural designs and technology strategies to potential clients.
  • Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable and efficient technology architectures that leverage modern patterns, frameworks, and technologies. Ensure solutions align with industry best practices and client objectives.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge of Java, React, Kubernetes, and DevOps processes, particularly on Azure, to guide project teams and ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Advocate for and implement best practices in software development, deployment, and operations. Promote the use of automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of consultants and developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges and providing strategic guidance on technology solutions.
  • Stay Current: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their potential impact on our consulting services.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology consulting or a related field, with a focus on architecture design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in Java and React, with hands-on experience in developing applications using these technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes and experience with container orchestration.
  • In-depth knowledge of DevOps processes, particularly in Azure environments.
  • Familiarity with Camunda for workflow automation and process management.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with Kafka, Cloud setup, Cloud networking, Cybersecurity (from a development point of view).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
