DESCRIPTION

Amazon Ads is one of Amazon’s fastest growing organizations with sizeable growth. The Demand Tech team serves a wide array of enterprise and independent customers to deliver against their programmatic video, audio, and digital media strategies.

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to drive the development of industry-leading campaign forecasting and recommendations experiences for our advertising solutions. This role sits at the intersection of science, technology, and business strategy, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of forecasting and recommendations at scale. This role is highly cross-functional as our work supports multiple advertising solutions (ADSP, Sponsored Display, Sponsored TV) and every feature launched within them. You will drive the vision for the customer experience across forecasting, recommendations, and media planning and directly influence how customers allocate their advertising budgets and achieve their objectives.

Success in this role requires a passion for UX and customer obsession. You will work across user experience, client services, media planning, and engineering teams building forecasting and recommendations models. You will work with science teams to understand how the experiences you launch impact customer journeys. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, a strategic mindset all while delivering insights and innovations that shape business decisions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Unify the recommendations and forecasting experiences into one cohesive dialogue with customers
  • Partner with Ads Planner to shape how our science investments influence upstream budget allocation decisions
  • Simplify and solve complex, inter-dependent, customer and business opportunities.
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, science, marketing and design leaders to execute on your vision.

About the team

Our team provides customer facing forecasting and recommendations for self-service advertising customers throughout their campaign lifecycle journey. Our products educate customers on budget allocation opportunities, effective campaign setup, and optimizations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience technical product management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
