This role is a part of the Data Management Department, Digital & Technology Global Team (D&T) of HEINEKEN International.

As a QA / Test Engineer in Heineken’s Data Mapping team, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies that validate the functionality and usability of our applications. Your work will directly support Heineken’s data initiatives by safeguarding the integrity of digital experiences and enabling seamless data mapping and data transformation across the organization.

Your responsibilities would include:

• developing test cases, test plans, and test strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• executing manual and automated tests on agreed acceptance criteria across various platforms, browsers, and devices to validate software functionality, usability, and performance
• identifying, prioritizing, and reporting defects, working closely with software development engineers (SDEs) to resolve issues
• developing and maintaining automated test scripts using scripting languages or test automation frameworks
• continuously enhancing automation infrastructure, test frameworks, and test suites to improve test efficiency and effectiveness
• conducting regression testing to ensure software changes do not introduce new defects or regressions
• developing and maintaining regression test suites to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines
• collaborating with product managers, SDEs, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of quality goals, requirements, and priorities
• participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint reviews.

You are a good candidate if you have:

• 3+ years of working experience in the similar position
• a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
• proficiency in testing tools and frameworks, including Playwright (preferred), Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, BrowserStack
• good understanding of integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines
• experience with testing API to validate functionality, performance, and reliability
• experience with manual testing techniques, test case design, and test execution
• proficiency in programming language for test automation
• experience defining tests in applications written in JavaScript / TypeScript
• experience working with Jira (defining and writing tests, bugs etc.)
• working, preferably, with Azure DevOps (Test Plans & basic understanding of pipelines) or GitHub/GitLab

You are the perfect candidate if:

• you have experience with other programming language like Python, React Native.
