As a Principal Program Manager within the TOM organization, you will drive transformational initiatives that revolutionize Amazon's transportation network operations, planning, and execution. In this role, you will lead complex, enterprise-level programs that span multiple business lines and organizational pillars, directly impacting the efficiency and scalability of Amazon's transportation operations. You will architect and execute strategic roadmaps that align with Amazon's long-term transportation vision while delivering immediate operational value. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, deep technical understanding, and proven experience in driving large-scale organizational change.
This role requires someone who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels, with the ability to influence across organizations while maintaining deep operational knowledge. The Principal Program Manager will deliver complex programs that drive significant business value and organizational change.

A day in the life
Your day will involve working on large, cross-functional projects. This will include managing project deliverables, providing feedback on site and program requirements as well as communicating progress and risks to leadership.
You will collaborate closely with business line stakeholders, central planning, engineering, and real estate teams to drive adoption and intake of yard capacity thresholds.
Throughout this work, you will need to think expansively about how network changes and yard constraints can impact operations and capacity. You will be tasked with constantly exploring new, innovative ways to drive improvements and efficiencies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
