We’re excited to announce multiple opportunities for experienced Program Analysts to join our team and help coordinate the distribution and evaluation of statewide grants that play a critical role in advancing public safety outcomes in Oregon!
These hybrid positions work at home and in the office. Typically, a Grant Liaison can expect to spend 1-2 days in the office each week.
In these important roles, you’ll help track, analyze, and explain data related to the application, distribution, and use of grant funds. You’ll work directly with program staff, grant teams, and leadership to provide data-driven insights, support grantmaking activities, and maintain compliance with funding guidelines.
As a Program Analyst 2, you’ll be responsible for tracking and monitoring financial and programmatic data, analyzing trends and outcomes, and preparing clear, accessible reports and recommendations for internal and external audiences. These positions also play a vital role in coordinating operational processes, managing timelines, and supporting grant teams in the efficient, effective administration of grant programs.

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two (2) years experience coordinating or administering a program
OR
Any combination of experience or education equivalent to five (5) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.
This position works in a typical office environment, both at home and in a state office, with occasional lifting of office supplies and equipment. The majority of the workday is spent at a computer.
Workload can be demanding, requiring priority management. Significant weekend and evening work may be necessary, especially for project deadlines.
Intra and interstate travel may be required on occasion in all types of weather.
The mission of the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission (CJC) is to improve the legitimacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of Oregon’s state and local criminal justice systems by providing a centralized and impartial forum for statewide policy development and planning. The salary range listed above is for non-PERS qualifying applicants. PERS qualifying applicants may be eligible for an adjusted range to reflect an additional 6.95%.

The successful candidate for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, there may be some felony convictions that could disqualify you for this position.
