Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

Job Description

As a Welder/Fabricator, you will engage in MIG welding on steel and undertake fabricating responsibilities in a dynamic job shop setting. Each day presents a variety of tasks, ensuring an engaging and stimulating work environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints to guide your work.
• Construct base templates when necessary to facilitate fabrication tasks.
• Measure and mark out cutting and bending lines with precision.
• Double-check design specifications before initiating cutting work to ensure accuracy.
• Fabricate and construct metal components with skill and attention to detail.
• Grind and finish completed products to meet quality standards.
• Perform quality checks on completed products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Complete job reports to document your work and maintain records.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding with 3+ years of experience.
• Expertise in steel fabrication with at least 3 years of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with 3+ years of experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong ability in fitting and fabrication.
• Experience with blueprint and design interpretation.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime on some Saturdays where hours extend from 6am to 4:30pm. This role offers a structured schedule in a job shop setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The pay range for this position is $48880.00 - $58240.00/yr.
