Job Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Job Description

This role is for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician, working from 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts as necessary. The position focuses on maintaining and supporting product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity, primarily in the power transmission area involving conveyors, gearboxes, and fluid transfer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support product-specific work cells to minimize downtime.
  • Respond to downtime situations promptly to restore machine functionality.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on work cells and document all maintenance activities accurately.
  • Evaluate and identify potential future maintenance needs or issues.
  • Conduct process verification procedures and follow process deviation procedures when changing parameters.
  • Perform repairs including fabricating, replacing bearings, and repairing hydraulic pumps.
  • Handle cooling pumps and conveyor systems, similar to equipment found in a baking facility.
  • Perform minor facility maintenance repairs as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 5 years of experience in maintenance and preventative maintenance.
  • 3 years of experience with hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
  • 3 years of experience reading blueprints.
  • Facilities maintenance experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with heavy mixing equipment.
  • Experience in automation.
  • Automotive industry experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
