Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to stand for long periods, and a willingness to be cross-trained in various areas. You will be part of a dynamic team, working together in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Document receiving processes.
• Perform factory resets by manually pressing buttons.
• Conduct automatic tests, plugging in up to 32 units to determine repair needs.
• Execute Wi-Fi and elevated temperature tests.
• Perform cosmetic cleaning and repair tasks.
• Engage in In-Process Quality Control (IPQC).
• Prepare kits and build pallets for shipment.
• Scan parts at each step of the 12-step process.

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable being on feet for extended periods.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Willingness to be cross-trained in different areas.
• Experience in assembly, repair, and quality inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hand dexterity.
• Punctuality.
• Experience with soldering, test equipment, RF scanners, and power tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
