POSITION: Information Literacy & Instructional Design Librarian (FT)
Effective immediately: (FT) Information Literacy & Instructional Design Librarian - Library – New Castle.
Requirements: A Master’s degree in library science or a related field is required. Must have excellent communication, customer service skills, and organization skills. Must be detail-oriented and able to work with diverse populations. Must be self-directed and able to make decisions independently. Must be computer literate, proficient in the use of various applications such as Microsoft Office, and be versed in Information Literacy. Knowledge of research databases, internet searching, and familiarity with online course management systems and web-based tutorial software is expected. Must be committed to professional development in a rapidly changing work environment. The ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in any situation is necessary. Must demonstrate respect for others in the workplace and a commitment to creating a supportive work environment that values the contributions of all employees.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Hours of Employment: Generally, Monday-Friday with evening shifts required. Library service hours include daytime, evening, and weekend coverage: Monday–Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., and Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The incumbent must be flexible with their schedule and/or hours to meet the needs of the department and/or the University. Travel to other sites may be required.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience.
