POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager, LBS Timekeeping & Scheduling is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of timekeeping and scheduling functions within a shared services environment, including balancing. This role manages a team that ensures accurate time capture, adherence to labor laws, and optimal workforce scheduling using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Collaborate closely with People Services, Payroll, and departmental leaders to maintain compliance and improve processes related to timekeeping and scheduling.
  • Collaborate closely with Payroll to monitor timekeeping processes to ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws, including overtime, meal breaks, and time-off policies.
  • Work closely with department managers to develop and implement schedules that meet operational needs while adhering to labor cost guidelines.
  • Act as the liaison and partner with subject matter expert for UKG to provide guidance and support to the team and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with IT to manage system updates, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system functionality.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of timekeeping and scheduling principles, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on timekeeping and scheduling metrics to senior management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive informed decision-making.
  • Support Timecard and Payroll balancing using Alteryx automation.
  • Support Provider payment file aggregation and loading using Alteryx automation.
  • Collaborate with IT to support the monthly Vertex tax updates.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual tax balancing process.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, People Services, or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum5 years in Payroll Reporting, Workforce Management or related field. Experience with Alteryx preferred.
