Job Summary –

Looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer to assist with the design, development, implementation & administration of ServiceNow Solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of ServiceNow Development Experience covering multiple areas of the platform (ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, Discovery, etc.), be able to work in a high-demand environment, meet deadlines while working remote, and be highly collaborative & communicative.

Basic Responsibilities –

  1. Design, develop, & configure ServiceNow applications, workflows & integrations.
  2. Design & Configure ServiceNow Modules such as ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change Management), Request Management (Service Catalog, Employee Center), Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Automation Engine, ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, & Virtual Agent.
  3. Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, MID Servers and other relevant technologies.
  4. Develop, Test, Deploy & Maintain scripts using JavaScript, GlideScript, and other scripting languages.
  5. Design, Test, Deploy & Maintain workflows, & business rules to support integration logic & data processing
  6. Develop & maintain API’s, web services, and other integration interfaces to support data exchange between systems.
  7. Implement workflows, business rules, and automation to streamline processes and improve user experience.
  8. Conduct Code Reviews to ensure they’re up to date with industry standards.
  9. Ability to implement security policies using ACL’s (Access Control Lists), roles, groups, etc.
  10. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, improvement of process and provide technical support.
  11. Collaborate with Business Teams, and IT Teams to gather requirements and design integration solutions to align solutions with organization goals.
  12. Create & Maintain Comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and solutions. Ensure that best practices and ITIL frameworks are followed.
  13. Assist with upgrades, patches, and new releases to ensure platform stability and enhancement of functionality.
  14. Provide Training and support to end users and junior team members as needed.
  15. Stay up to date with new features & best practices in ServiceNow Integration & Development.

Required Qualifications –

  1. Understanding of ServiceNow Architecture, data model, and best practices.
  2. Experience in working with ServiceNow (Developer, System Administrator, Architect)
  3. Strong Knowledge of ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, & Knowledge Management, Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, & others as based on business needs.
  4. Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, Automation Engine, Service Catalog, Employee Center, & Performance Analytics.
  5. Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, etc).
  6. Solid Understanding of ITIL Best Practices
  7. Strong Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting Skills.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications -

  1. ServiceNow Certifications (Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM, HAM, & SAM)
  2. Experience with Mobile App & Virtual Agent
  3. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
